The Environmental Management System of Hitachi Automotive Products (USA) Inc. Harrodsburg, Kentucky, USA was approved by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance Limited for ISO 14000, effective March 5, 1998.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

    

     Hitachi Automotive Products is dedicated to manufacture quality products in a safe and environmentally conscious manner. We are committed to continual improvement and the prevention of pollution. Training and awareness programs will ensure the safe and proper handling of chemicals. Our Environmental Management Review Team will provide the framework for setting and reviewing environmental objectives and targets to support ISO 14001. Internal audits will serve as a tool to identify shortfalls and track corrective actions. To honor our responsibilities as a corporate citizen, we commit to comply with all customer requirements, as well as, relevant local, state and federal environmental legislation and regulations.
